OREY’s 2014 Volunteer Opportunities

Spend a day out of your Spring Break to help those in need!
Organization Reaching for the Empowerment of Youth (OREY) is a New York-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing assistance to the victims of natural disasters nationwide. OREY involves youth and young adults in the rebuilding effort by linking them with appropriately chosen placements in needy communities.  OREY will be organizing one or two volunteer days a month in February, March, April and May, for youth and young adults to volunteer in New York City.   Volunteers will have the opportunity to aid those that are still recovering from the devastation from Hurricane Sandy.  A wide variety of opportunities from working in a food pantry to clean-up days to rebuilding will be available.  Thanks to support from a grant from Repair the World, transportation to and from the volunteer site, along with meals will be provided.
Please continue to check the website for more information on the volunteer days, or email oreyorg@gmail.com, and call (347) 454-1245 for more information.
